Danny Boy and other songs - arranged for lever harp

Written for lever or pedal harp these arrangements are highly evocative and with a full and rich sound, far beyond the usual standard editions for beginners. Nonetheless they are quite easy at playing and suitable for amateurs who can easily learn and enjoy them.

The collection includes a selection of the most popular and loved melodies from harp repertoire, elaborated in different ways:
Danny Boy (Londonderry air) is written in the form of a romanza.
Searching for Lambs is an impromptu with variations.
Three Scottish Miniatures includes The Water is Wide, Loch Lomond and Blue Bells of Scotland, each song preceded by an introduction and followed by a variation.
Country Gardens is in the form of a classical rondo.

These arrangements are also particularly useful for studying harp techniques such harmonics, downward arpeggios, big rolled chords and so on. Few lever changes are required only in Country Gardens. They are also fantastic pieces for a student recital or an encore for professional musicians.
